Women’s Center

Our state of the art center for young women opened in May, 2008.  It is here that our ladies receive the training necessary to once again become constructive members of society.

Years of research at the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University discovered that:

▪ Girls are more likely than boys to use addictive substances to control their weight, alter their mood, increase confidence, relieve stress or boredom, self-medicate depression, or reduce their inhibitions.

▪ Women and young girls become addicted to drugs faster and suffer the consequences sooner than men and young boys.
